Mops - Mothers of Pre-schoolers - 1st & 3rd Thursdays

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and exists to help meet the needs of every mom. MOPS is open to ALL mothers of children from infants to kindergarteners, regardless of race, religion or background. We know that raising young children is a unique, wonderful and sometimes challenging time in a mom’s life, and we seek to nurture, support and encourage each other so we can be the best mothers we were called to be.

MOPS meets at Immanuel Lutheran Church on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month (Sept-May) from 8:45-10:45am. MOPS meetings are a time for you to relax and make connections with other moms. Typically our meetings start with a delicious brunch, hot coffee and time to sit and relax with other moms. Meetings also include a short devotion, relevant speakers, creative activities, and discussion time. MOPS moms also gather for occasional field trips with the kids as well as mom’s night out events. The best part is while you are meeting, your children are having fun with kids their own age in our MOPPETS program. Loving caregivers engage your children in playtime, singing and stories. It’s fun for you and fun for them!

Registration is currently underway. A non-refundable registration fee of $24 will secure your spot in MOPS for the 2009-2010 year. Dues of approximately $70 per year to cover childcare and operating costs are collected semi-annually. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please speak with a MOPS Coordinator because scholarships are available. Our theme for the 2009-10 year is “Together on Planet Mom” – how to thrive in relationships in this new world known as Motherhood. For more information or to register please contact our Coordinators: Sarah Delleart (636.432.1039) or Angela Hendrickson (636.390.9959).
